Meet Alyssa

Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am the owner of Alyssa Klein Counseling, LLC. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carthage College in 2020. Upon graduating, I decided to take a year to work and decide where I wanted to end up. That year really emphasized that my passion lies in sitting with people, holding space for them, and witnessing their growth. This led me to my decision to complete a Master’s program in Counseling at Mount Mary University. I recently graduated from this program with an emphasis in trauma counseling.

During my time in this program, and the time after, I have learned a lot about myself and my style. I aim to show up as my own most authentic self in hopes that my clients feel comfortable doing the same. It is important to me that the space I provide is one where my clients can discuss anything, anytime. I believe that we all have the potential for growth when we are placed in a supportive environment to do so.

As a newly licensed professional, I am currently under the supervision of Sharon Gaffney, LPC.
